DECLARATION OF FAITH

We believe:

 

 

• In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.

 

• In a God who exists eternally in three persons, namely: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

 

• That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. That He was crucified, buried, and rose again from the dead. That He ascended into heaven and is now at the right hand of the Father as our Intercessor.

 

• That all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God, and that repentance is ordained by God for all and necessary for the forgiveness of sins.

 

• That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are effected by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

 

• In sanctification, following the new birth, through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, through the Word and the Holy Spirit.

 

• That holiness is God's rule of life for his people.

 

• In the baptism with the Holy Spirit, subsequent to the cleansing of the heart.

 

• Speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit directs the person, is the initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit.

 

• In water baptism by immersion, and that all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

 

• That divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.

 

• At the Lord's Supper and the washing of the saints' feet.

 

• At the second coming of Jesus before the millennium, He will first resurrect the righteous dead and rapture the living saints to Him in the air. Second, He will reign on earth for a thousand years.

 

• In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.
